Wise Owls Events
We have a busy schedule over the year, here are just some of the events that we have coming up.Further details will appear closer to the time of the event.
21st March 2012 – Easter Egg Hunt
As Easter is approaching the children will be taken out in the village where there will be a number of Easter eggs hidden in the grass for the children to find. This is always great fun for the kids (and the adults too). In the past the children have hunted for the Easter eggs in The Pound and in the grounds of Lacock Abbey.
28th March 2012 – Easter Coffee Morning
Come and join us in the Toddler Group for coffee/tea and homemade cakes. There will be a raffle to help raise funds for the group. At 10.30am the children will come in to entertain you for a short while with some of the things that they have been learning over the term.
11th July 2012 - Sports Picnic
We will meet on the playing field. We will have some races for the children to take part in, also for the toddlers. The parents and staff will also have their own races to take part in. We will then have lunch on the field before the children who are booked for the afternoon return to Wise Owls. This is a fun event and a good chance to socialise with other parents and the staff. You will need to bring a packed lunch with you. Don’t worry about the weather if it is raining we will just move everything indoors.
18th July 2012 - Leavers Celebration
This is a celebration for those children who are leaving us to start at school. The children will do a small performance of some of their favourite songs from their time at Wise Owls. There will also be a presentation for those children who are moving on. The celebration starts at 9.30am and is a lovely way to mark the end of your time at Wise Owls. We will also be joined by the children from Willow class at Lacock School. All parents and family members of existing Wise Owls children are welcome to join us.
